Mad South African checking in…. I have also lived to wonder why on earth I commited myself to such a crazy adventure. Sleepless nights trying to get the fund raising campaign up and running plus the obvious signs that my body is no longer what it was once! Clearly my 29 years on the planet including 6 years of office work have taken their toll. My latest 22km put me out of action for a few days with countless aches and pains… the hard work lies ahead… I should have suspected something was wrong when our attempts to convince more people to join the team met with failure. Maybe they were wise, maybe boring, but they’ll definately miss out on an awesome adventure!
